The Life Aquatic Studio Sessions featuring Seu Jorge

Whilst watching Wes Anderson's Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou, like all his films I heard songs I'd never listened to before but grabbed me by the balls and sat me up whilst laying in my bed at three in the morning. This time it was the sounds of Brazilian Seu Jorge (I don't know why, but his name just reminds me of Serge Gainsbourg, but he played 'Knockout' Ned in City Of God). This guy recorded an album, 'The Life Aquatic Studio Sessions featuring Seu Jorge'
consisting of 14 (15 if you count the iTunes bonus track) David Bowie covers. The song's captures the originals perfectly just with his warming twlight sounding vocal and his acoustic nylon stringed guitar - comparing them to the Bowie original's are hard as they are completely different.

Have a read over on Wiki for me infoooooooooooooooo, click here to listen to the album on Spotify, oh and watch the film yeah?

I'm gonna start watching Andy Murrary now and make a bacon sandwich.

bye
